06/10/07- Commune web sites project
The Province of Massa-Carrara, Comunità Montana della Lunigiana and the communes of Casola in Lunigiana, Filattiera, Fosdinovo, Licciana Nardi, Mulazzo, Podenzana, Tresana, Zeri, Massa, Carrara, Montignoso, Aulla, Fivizzano, Villafranca, Pontremoli, Comano, Bagnone signed on March 28th the protocol for the project aiming at creating commune web sites . According to a regional project, this project will be financed by the Province of Massa-Carrara.
The protocol was signed by all the mayors of the communes of this province, by the President of the Province Osvaldo Angeli and the President of the Comunità Montana Loris Rossetti.
“Our goal – the President of the Province Osvaldo Angeli stated, is the development of a network in order to provide services and information for citizens and companies in a simple and clear way. “I believe – ended Angeli – that we can win our challenge to competitiveness with these tools towards which we have great expectations and pay much attention.
The project Commune Web Sites focuses on the development of a web based system to give citizens and companies access to information about public services, and swap of information among local authorities.
The objective is the exchange of data supplied by the different authorities of the Province of Massa-Carrara as well as citizens’ and local authorities’ access by means of a common system.
Key outputs
Development of a software platform for the exchange and management of data supplied by the communes;
Creation of new institutional web sites for communes (on demand);
Training of the person in charge of the system management within the commune,
Creation of the Commune Web Sites consulting area which can be linked from the portal of the Province of Massa-Carrara: a special mark will keynote the Commune Web Sites and access will be possible from the various web sites of the communes involved in this project.
Moreover, the province local authority editorial staff will supply project press coordination
The project is the first of this kind in Tuscany. Francesco Bertelloni. Province Coordinator for e-government policy developed this project in order to meet the need of a common way towards technology with an eye to e-democracy process and transparency in the administration.
