Work

On a provincial basis the activities governing the work market are the competence of the Work Policies sector of the Province.

Conduct:

• To favour the employment or re-employment on the work market of those who are in search of an occupation.
• To assist companies in locating the professional figures requested
• To promote interventions in favour of vulnerable sections.
• To deal with controversy in work disputes.
• To promote actions in support of employment and the creation of new companies by activating dynamic work policies.
• To manage the Osservatorio del Mercato del Lavoro (Observatory of the Work market).
• To coordinate the activities of the Commissions.
• To draw up instructive material

These activities are carried on through the management of the Centro del Impiego (Employment Centre) and the Politiche Attive del Lavoro (Active Policies for Work).

Employment Centre

The Employment Centre offers free services with the aim of regulating the access of the unemployed to the world of work and of assisting companies, promoting the encounter between the demand and offer of work

The Centre is present on the territory with offices in Massa, Carrara and Aulla, which offer a series of services for workers and companies.

Active Policies for Work

Active policies for work are the all the action and measures that can be brought to bear on the subject of work, incentives for the creation of companies and independent occupation, initiatives for the setting up of employment for vulnerable sectors (women, the unemployed, subjects excluded from the process of production, the disabled, the underprivileged) as well as the prevention of long term unemployment.
Active policies for work operates in close connection with the services of demand/offer, finalizing their endeavours by giving information to users both when occupational needs are detected and during the phase of direct consultancy.
