We are looking for a partner to whom we can entrust the management of a poly-functional centre dedicated to the theme 'horses'. The structure, which will be erected in the Lunigiana commune of Comano, is at present in the executive planning phase and will become active in the summer of 2006. The initiative aims to recover and enhance an ancient tradition of the town, which was in the past an early postal station. The centre wishes to consolidate and amplify the size of the existing sector fair and develop the theme of the horse during the whole year in all of its various expressions (breeding, stables, therapy, trekking …). The equestrian centre will be endowed with 30 stables, a riding school, a stabling room, an area for shoeing and washing down, etc. A service centre will also be built with offices, bar, toilets and an open air terrace. The quality of the location, its proximity to the A15 MILAN - PARMA motorway (at only14 kilometres) and to the railway station, the historical traditions reaching back to the middle ages, all make the site a particularly encouraging initiative. As well as this, the project is consistent with the provincial lines of economic development which are directed towards the enhancement of tourism in the interior.
