Province of Massa-Carrara carries on its commitment to supply services to citizens and enterprises via internet.
Parma, July 6th – In the office of the Province of Parma the President of the Province of Massa-Carrara Osvaldo Angeli and Vincenzo Bernazzoli, President of the Province of Parma have signed today an agreement on the exchange of the experiences and expertise developed by the two territories during these last years as far as creation of their web networks, the know how related to their communication systems and relationship with citizens based on web portals are concerned,
“Thanks to the project we have just presented”, Angeli said “we promote the exchange of the different experiences made by our authorities, and join the best results achieved and our potentials in order to offer better services for our territories and our communites. This project in particular, will increase the number and standard of services which address to citizens living in small and big communes.
“The project we have presented” – said Bernazzoli – means a further step in the cooperation we started time ago with the Province of Massa-Carrara which aims at exchanging tasks and experiences in order to improve our information technology and communication systems. Apart from this, we have the possibility to show our special features and work in synergy eliminating borders provided by local administrations and adding new value to our territories as a consequence of this new important and true relationship between us.
The agreement signed implements the cooperation between the two authorities that started Autumn 2004 according to the agreement for the development of information/communication technologies that aims also at transferring in “Phase One” the best practices of the “Parma system” to the Province of Massa-Carrara. Other project objectives are: development of a territorial web network of the P.A., a common internet protocol for the local authorities, a portal with complete information and services as far as tourism and culture are concerned - matching Parma’s portal – a common site for enterprises and implementation of digital signature systems and certified mail.
The agreement signed implements also the project “Communes on web” which goal is the creation of a federal system to manage contents and services via web provided by the public administration within the territory of Massa-Carrara keeping an eye to the initiatives taken by the Region of Tuscany
