President of the consortium Terme of Toscana (thermal baths of Tuscany) and terme di Equi (Equi thermal baths) new consultant Sergio Parenti introduced during the meeting with the representatives of the province and the commune of Fivizzano the new guide lines concerning investments which are necessary to reorganize the thermal spa of Equi.
Equi thermal baths were not involved in the renewal process thermal spas faced in the past 15 years in the rest of Italy, therefore they need relaunch and visibility at local and national level.
“Spring water from Molino spring is not suitable at the moment for non-seasonal tourism i.e. wintertime for thermal water temperature does non reach 30°. We should look for a hot thermal spring in order guarantee continuous warm water” Sergio Parenti stated.
As far as the thermal bath plant is concerned the hotel will be managed by a skilled family and investment will be done to better the two existing swimming pools (baby pool and swimming pool).
The town council of Fivizzano will vote a capital increase in order to face investment according to province administration improvements.
