Estate Market
The real estate market continues to be the only productive sector never to face emergencies: the price of real estate continues to grow.
In the commune of Massa there has been an increase in the amount of real estate on sale as regards new constructions, while for other transactions (purchase, sale and letting) the market is stationary.
As an indication, the average cost per square metre of new or restructured houses go from a minimum of € 1,200 in the interior to a maximum of € 5,300 along the coast (Marina di Massa).
The costs go down for houses in good condition and therefore habitable and for houses to be restructured.
The prices are noticeably less in the commune of Carrara, where there are not great differences between the interior and the coast.
There are great differences, however, as far as the size of houses is concerned. Prices per square metre are markedly greater for surfaces up to 60 square metres and noticeably smaller for surfaces of over 180 square metres.

Mortgages
Greatly favourable loan conditions have helped to give incentive to the real estate market.
In fact, the credit institutes have never given mortgages at such low interest rates.
Each institute has its own policies and a different approach to the territory, in the light of which it will offer different conditions: we suggest that the investor who wishes to obtain more details about what each institute is offering should contact the single banks present on the territory.
Facilities
There are various nationwide facilities for the purchase, restructuring and constructing of real estate, above all in connection with the first house.
